Build a bluebird nesting box to take home and learn about this fascinating bird, why it has been so beloved by people for centuries, and its importance to us here at Stingray Point Marina. We will explore the bluebird’s habits, history, and unique characteristics that make it
such a fascinating addition to our landscape.
You can build a bluebird nesting box to take home, just bring a cordless drill with charged battery, a 1/8″ drill bit, and a #2 Phillips head driver bit. If you don’t have a cordless drill it’s ok, we will have some extras to share. The boxes take about 30 minutes to assemble, and anyone can build one. Children should have an adult partner for construction. There is a $10 materials fee per box; you can build as many as you like… they make wonderful gifts as well as benefiting the birds in your back yard.
